This behind the scenes clip is really about how Wes Anderson directed Fantastic Mr. Fox, but I’m posting it because I love seeing that they shot it with regular consumer DSLRs. The first one you see is a Canon EOS 50D, for example, which isn’t even one of the top of the line Canon cameras. It certainly makes perfect sense that they’d use them, but you always kind of think that big movie productions have specialty equipment so it’s cool to see that this isn’t always the case.
